This powerful solo play, written and performed by Jeff Sherr, traces Kentuckian John Rosenberg’s journey from fleeing Nazi Germany to standing with civil rights workers in 1960s Mississippi and coalfield families in Kentucky. Through decades of courtroom battles and community organizing, it’s a story of memory, resilience, and love, and a reminder that the work of justice is never finished.

The 80-minute performance is followed by an audience talkback with John and Jean Rosenberg.
